Developer Relations Engineer

Oxylabs
From 2800 €/m Gross

Job Description

You’ll be solving challenges for top-tier clients and collaborating with industry professionals. We’ll fuel your professional growth with vast internal and external learning resources and an environment of teaming up and knowledge sharing.

You’ll be working at the intersection of web data extraction and the exploding AI ecosystem. We’re looking for someone who actually gets web scraping – not just conceptually, but in the _“I’ve fought anti-bot systems at 2 AM”_ kind of way. You’ll sit in Product Marketing, but your primary mission is to earn trust with developers, not “market to them” – especially those building LLM apps, autonomous agents, and AI-powered data workflows. You will have loads of ownership, a well-built tech stack, and a team of strong professionals supporting you.

  • Own technical documentation: rewrite, restructure, and maintain docs so both humans and AI agents can discover, understand, and use the product effectively.
  • Build a presence in the AI engineering and open-source community: Engage with developers on GitHub, socials, and tech communities - wherever developers actually hang out.
  • Initiate and create adoption-driven content: You don’t have to do all the heavy writing yourself, but you’ll bring the insights on hot topics, cool use cases, and handy tips to share with our audience.
  • Be the voice of the scraping community internally: Translate real-world developer pain points (blocking, CAPTCHAs, scaling issues, inconsistent success rates) into actionable inputs for our product and messaging teams.
  • Bridge scraping and the AI stack: Understand how web data fits into modern RAG pipelines, LLM tools, and AI agents, and bring that perspective back to the team.

Requirements

  • You have practical experience extracting web data and managing proxies.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, HTTP/web protocols, and modern coding standards.
  • Heavy user of AI tooling in your day-to-day work (code assistants, automation) and experience integrating LLMs in real projects (RAG, basic agent workflows).
  • Ability to explain highly complex technical topics simply and authentically.
  • You don’t wait for a rigid content calendar or a step-by-step plan to be handed to you before you start creating and executing.

Nice to have

  • Experience with automated browser tools (Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium).
  • Deep familiarity with different proxy types and their specific use cases.
  • Prior experience in developer relations, community management, or technical content creation.
  • Experience plugging web data into AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, MCP, etc.) and understanding how web access constraints shape these systems.

Company offers

  • Growth & Learning: 40+ internal learning options, external conferences, mentorship, and year-round knowledge-sharing.
  • Health & Well-being: Private health insurance, psychotherapy, on-site well-being consultants, 24/7 gym access, and a wellness app.
  • Celebration & Community: Team events, an overseas workation, quarterly team-building budgets, and plenty of ways to mark milestones together.
  • Plus bonus vacation days, paid life-moment days off, barista coffee, and all the tools you need.
  • Vast internal & external learning resources
  • Guilds, communities & 500+ professionals by your side
  • Tesonet network & knowledge sharing
  • Yearly workation
  • Year-round internal & Tesonet community events
  • Team building budget
