Development Manager for Group Finance Solutions

Job Description

Group Finance Solutions (Group Accounts, Group Regulatory, Capital and Profitability) are about 50 people in DK and 30 in India with building up a new team in Lithuania.

You will report to Development Director in Denmark, who besides the newly started operation Lithuania has 2 Development Managers (and approx. 50 employees) in Denmark and 1 Development Manager in India (approx. 30 employees). These areas are responsible for a number of various platforms and systems, such as General Ledger, several reporting solutions, capital calculation, profitability and a facility pricing tool - delivering services across the entire Group of 19,000 employees in particular across the Northern European region.

Responsibilities:
• You will lead a team (10 employees in short term to 15 employees in long term) of developers, business analysts and technical support specialist.
• Ensuring a thorough understanding of the business area’s situation within own system area, including transforming this knowledge into an actual system delivery.
• Continuous and proactive balancing of expectations with own customers concerning execution of strategy, plans and deliveries.
• Extension of relationship with the business area’s stakeholders, function as innovative and proactive sparring partner through qualified cooperation and challenges in relation to the business area’s needs and wishes. Challenge the business area’s wishes for new functionality.
• Your team will be responsible for further maintenance and development of the vendor systems, data cubes and marts.

Requirements

• Experience and a proven track record as Department Manager and/or experienced Project Manager
• Working experience with system development, ideally both within administration and development/ project management.
• Experience in providing solutions and balancing expectations of costumers concerning execution of strategy, plans and deliveries.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient English language skills.
• Higher education in Economics/Engineering or similar academic education; alternatively, certified education at bachelor level supplemented by relevant experience within the area of IT system development.
