Purpose:
To join an exciting new team in Kaunas, work on different global projects using cutting-edge technology and solutions.
Job responsibilities:
- Leading an Agile team using JAVA technologies
- Developing innovative solutions to serve customer use cases
- Driving innovation and continuous improvements in all projects
- Training and supporting team members as needed
- Support other team leads to coordinate projects and technology choices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development using Java technologies.
- Experience leading a team building significant software systems/solutions
- Technical curiosity and proven ability to test, understand and implement new technologies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, IT or related technical field
- Fluency in English with great communication skills
- Deep technical knowledge of Java and systems and tools
- Practical knowledge of Agile processes
- Experience with unit testing and building testable code
- Knowledge of RDBMS / SQL including stored procedures
- Experience developing REST or SOAP web services
- Fluency in XML, JSON
- Flexibility to travel
- Ability to work across all levels of the company and report progress in a concise manner.
- Proven experience of mentoring and coaching junior team members
Desired Technology Skills:
- Apache Spark/Ignite
- React/Redux
- Experience in defining APIs, web services or SDKs used by multiple developers
- Travel Industry Experience
