I am John Thorburn and I am leading the Digital Connections in Telia Global Services Lithuania. With over 500 team mates in IT, network, analytics, software development, procurement, HR and finance operations, we are the Telia Company‘s competency hub working with cutting-edge technology to ensure group digitalization agenda across Nordics and Baltics.
At FaMe (Fast Messaging) team we are a great bunch of people, and I am super proud of every member of our team. Right now, I am looking for a DevOps Engineer in Vilnius.

You’ll have a possibility to grow into an amazing software engineer, capable of doing analyses and development in the same area.

Our team will follow DevOps and agile model, where you will influence ways of working of self-steering team.
You should be ready to handle a variety of tasks within the team, related to maintenance, operation, development.
Who are you?
You have a good understanding of IT and you want to become an expert. What matters more is your personal traits and the ability to be strong team-player with a service-minded mindset who independently will drive own tasks and deliver on time.
We need that combination of team spirit and individual drive as you will work closely with people in your team and collaboration with other teams.

Your experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in maintenance and operations of systems which have internal and external stakeholders
- Good understanding of network Security together with Data Encryption and Data Authorization aspects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Worked with modern development tools and methods (like DevOps, Scrum/Kanban, TDD…)
- Maintenance, operations and/or development towards a messaging environment (Kafka, Active MQ, JMS) is considered as an advantage
- Programming skills (for example Bash-shellscript, python and/or Java/GoLang) is considered as an advantage

We offer a monthly base salary from 2585 EUR to 3878 EUR plus annual bonuses, depending on your competencies, your and Telia results. Additionally, each Telia Global Services Lithuania employee receives additional employee benefits package which includes:
