Job Description
You will be working with 2-4 software development teams at any given time. While with the team – you will become integral part of it, bringing in operational/platform requirements into the team and thus enabling fast, reliable software deployment from concept to life.
Your long term task will not be “do-the-do” but rather motivate and enable software development teams to adapt DevOps style process by advocating automation and smart repeatability. You will attend stand-ups, take part in planning and always be the one saying “Here is how you might automate this step.”

The Person
- You enjoy working closely with development teams to help them deliver and adopt a DevOps approach
- You are happy investigating new tools and developing prototypes & demonstrations
- You are the kind of person that constantly looks for things to make better, to automate, and streamline.
- You can relate to the challenges of both the development lifecycle and of maintaining live service
Skills & Knowledge
- As DevOps typically are, you are coming from either software development, DBA, application support or platform/infrastructure engineering background.
- We need DevOps attitude and the right automation mindset, not necesarilly DevOps experience.
- Our platforms are mostly Windows, but we do have some Linux.
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET\T-SQL\Powershell, release management\orchestration tools , IT automation tools and version control tools will help a lot
- Background in Software\Database Development, Build or Release engineering
- Background in development and administrating cloud environments, including Azure.
- Good understanding of the software development process and lifecycle and the challenges faced
- Technical understanding of complex large scale software and database systems
- Experience with different types of operational and non-functional requirements
