The successful candidate will play a key role in investigating new technologies and developing our next generation of products, while at the same time supporting and improving our existing products. We are focusing on elevator industry; offering light curtains, electronic displays, emergency telephones and LED lighting. Location: Czech republic

Responsibilities
* Generating innovative product concepts and solutions.
* Investigate new technologies relevant to our products.
* Electrical design from concept through to production.
* Schematic capture, simulation, PCB layout.
* Embedded software development in C.
* Perform design validation testing.
* Internal and external EMC testing.
* Preparing and release of component specifications, Bill of Materials and drawings.
* Specification / development of production test equipment.
* Liaising with suppliers, purchase, quality and Manufacturing
* Managing / coordinating engineering changes and maintain detailed design records.
* Participate in field evaluations ensuring best in class cost / quality versus competitors.
* Support and maintenance of current products manufactured in Czech Republic and China.

* The candidate will have recently completed a degree in electronics engineering.
* Ability to debug PCBs down to component level from schematics.
* Self-starter with can do attitude.
* Analytical approach
* Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Must have a relevant engineering qualification
Preferable skills
* Some Experience in RF Design and telecoms.
* PCB layout
* Experience with Mechatronics
* Ability to create
* MISRA C
* Ability to debug PCBs down to component level from schematics.
