Job Description

DtecNet / MarkMonitor is looking for a seasoned web developer with extensive experience in working with Microsoft technologies. Based in our Copenhagen office, you will work together with other engineers and project managers to achieve successful results on key strategic development projects.

This role calls for a software engineer who is focused on web based technologies and has worked on a variety of projects involving primarily Microsoft technologies. In addition to a keen sense of usability and ability to deliver workable web based solutions that put the user first, you should also have solid working experience with Microsoft SQL server and distributed systems.

Requirements

• Solid experience in working with Microsoft ASP.net (at least 4 years) including practical experience with ASP.net MVC and experience with WCF
  
• Strong experience with design and development of relational databases using MS SQL Server 2005/2008
  
• Strong skills in performance tuning in MS SQL indexes, locking, query hints, execution plan
  
• Good understanding of and experience applying OO design and SOA principles
  
• Very good English language skills

Knowledge and experience within any of the following areas will also be useful:

• O/R mapping and practical experience with Entity Framework, LINQ to SQL, NHibernate
  
• Relevant enterprise architecture patterns such as Model View Controller, Repository etc.
  
• Principles of test driven development and experience with nUnit, StructureMap, moq

You should have a strong desire to work closely together with the people who will be using the web based systems you help develop, and a good ability to understand the needs of your users and deliver workable successful solutions that match those needs.
