Job Description
The Finance Director will be based in China working in an international team and will be responsible for all functions of the finance department.

Your tasks:
- FINANCE, REPORTING & ACCOUNTING
- Managing and conducting the local bookkeeping (China GAAP - ASBE PR China)
- Monthly performance reporting (P&L, Cash Flow, Net Working Capital etc.)
- Challenging forecasts, budgets and operational targets
- Managing of all financial issues (Hedging, Guarantees, etc.)
- Managing all tax issues
- Organize and oversee audits
- Responsible for communication with financial business partners like banks, tax authorities, auditors, tax advisors and insurance advisors
- Train and develop the finance team
- CONTROLLING & PROJECTS
- Reviewing revenue and costs in area of responsibility
- Analysis of deviations and identification of actions to improve efficiency
- Project management and assessing project profitability
- Liaising with in-house heads of departments and senior management to provide financial information required by management for planning and control
- Identifies possible risks that might impact future financial performance of the company
- Prepare all ad hoc requests
- Support the MD and BU managers to grow the business
Requirements
- Min. 7 years working experience with a Conglomerate, Auditing- or Consulting Company
- Very good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Knowledge of finance computer systems, ledgers and coding structures
- Experience in group reporting structures, systems and procedures
- Proven experience in analysis, planning and organizing
- Experience in project management
- Skills in Strategy and organizational topics
- Good technical and interpersonal skills from shop-floor through to board level to external professional relationships e.g. consultants and auditors
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to see the issues behind the numbers
- Advanced use of computer-based analytical tools (SAP, Hyperion Financial Management etc.)
- English speaking is mandatory
- German / Chinese speaking would be an advantage
- A sense of humor
