Proven knowledge and expertise of specific technical platforms:

• Firewalls - JNCIA qualification (Juniper) or equivalent, CCNA or equivalent;
  
• Detailed knowledge of all major components of network infrastructure – e.g. Cisco routers
  

• Thorough knowledge of the TCPIP protocol Suite, VLSM, IP address allocation and IGRP,
  

• Hands on experience of major network equipment vendors products (Cisco, Juniper,
  

• Experience of WAN routing technologies;
  
• Proven experience in designing and implementing network solutions;
  
• Aware of the history of networks and can explain how it came to be as it is;
  
• Good English skills.
