Requirements

Proven knowledge and expertise of specific technical platforms:

• Firewalls experience, preferably JNCIA qualification (Juniper) or equivalent;
  
• Has a working knowledge of the key issues in implementing security within networking infrastructure:
  
• Experiences with tools and techniques for securing/hardening a network infrastructure
  
• Familiar with existing policies and practices
  
• Has an understanding of the operational issues and considerations for securing information
  
• Detailed knowledge of all major components of network infrastructure – e.g. Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, PBX, voice recording, call logging, IVR etc.;
  
• Thorough knowledge of the TCPIP protocol Suite, VLSM, IP address allocation and IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP routing protocols;
  
• Hands on experience of major network equipment vendors products (Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint);
  
• Experience of WAN routing technologies;
  
• Proven experience in designing and implementing network solutions;
  
• Aware of the history of networks and can explain how it came to be as it is;
  
• Good English skills.
