Job Description

We are one of the leading and fastest growing web agencies based in Scotland - MTC media. We provide full service web development all the way from design to development and marketing.

Our offices are located in Dundee, Edinburgh, Manchester and Riga. As well as employees across the world.

We are currently looking for experienced Frontend developers who would join our Riga team.

Your role will involve installing and configuring our a variety of ecommerce and CMS systems and bringing our design team's vision for our customers to life. You should have a sound knowledge and a desire to keep up to date with the rapidly evolving world of modern web standards. We are looking for candidates who are able to help us continue our push into the challenges and complexities of the modern web and beyond.

Requirements

  • responsive HTML / CSS (Less/Sass) / JS;
  • experience working with CMS/frameworks;
  • understanding of PHP;
  • good people skills;
  • some experience with VueJs or React
  • at least 3 years of work experience;
  • good knowledge of English.

 

Required skills are a sound knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript / Vue.js or similar. Work with headless CMS systems is highly desireable as is the ability to read and edit basic PHP. We need front end developers with a keen visual eye that can deliver high-tech solutions but also pixel perfect websites.

We consider it a plus if:

  • ability to markup mobile view from desktop design;
  • you have advanced knowledge in PHP, Drupal or Wordpress;
  • you have knowledge in Twig.
