
Full-Stack PHP Developer
Job Description
Product: Lirema IT department is developing a complex business management system (SaaS) that optimizes business processes and transfers business functions to the electronic space.
Team: Lirema IT team consists of 7 members – 5 developers, (3 full-stack, 1 back-end, 1 front-end), UI/ UX designer and PO. We are looking for the 8th team member to be the 4th full-stack developer.
Stack: the IT team uses: PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, Gitalb, Jira, Confluence, etc.
The system integrates: Sentry, Updown, Mailgun, Mailtrap, CKE, Raspbery Pi, automatic tests (frontend and backend) and other components.
The next 3 steps of the IT team:
Step 1. To create a specialized business management system that meets the needs of the investor.
Step 2. Turn an IT solution into a commercial product (SaaS), make it easily accessible and implemented for external customers in Lithuania. To become a well-known and competitive player in the Lithuanian IT market.
Step 3. Develop the product in foreign markets starting in Scandinavia, where the main investor operates.
Requirements
We believe that from a technological point of view you are:
- A full-stack developer.
- Have 3+ years of PHP experience.
- Have 3+ years of CSS, HTML, JS experience.
- Have worked with Laravel and Vue.js for at least 1 year (at least with one of those frameworks)
- Have RESTful API knowledge and experience.
- Know the difference between SQL and NoSQL DB and when to use them optimally.
- Have knowledge and experience in developing IT systems architecture.
- Have DevOps knowledge and experience (it’s a bonus point)
From the background:
- Have an education in IT.
- Have worked in a team of at least 3 people.
- Know the SCRUM principles and they don’t interfere with yours.
On the personal side:
- Can advise and explain why one solution or another is better for a teammate.
- Can discover solutions when others say there’s no solution at all.
- Can accept the opinion of others, even if it does not correspond to yours.
- Able to delve into the code of others, even if it is spaghetti.
- Want to constantly add new tools to your stack and are not afraid of cutting edge technologies.
- Can give Story points even though you know that you don’t know much about the technical realization of the Story.
- Feel responsible for your own and your team’s work.
- Are a man of his word.
