On behalf of our client, a 5* luxury hotel in the Swiss Alpes, we are looking for a Groups & Events Manager!

 

Requirements

  • Manage the day-to-day Groups & Events Sales activities on property
  • Full process of event management (proposals, contracts, function sheets, billing)
  • Handling of group rooms reservations from 10 people upwards
  • Maintaining and strengthening of guest contact before, during and after the event
  • Creation of sales activities in order to strengthen client and partner relationships
  • Guarantee of a strong and efficient teamwork within the department and across the hotel
  • Responsible for one event coordinator; reporting to the culinary director

 


Your Requirements
  • Passionate about organizing events and special occasions
  • Customer focused, with an eye for detail
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management
  • Hotel experience required, ideally on a luxury 5* level
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently, flexible and proactively
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Excellent communication skills in two of the three languages (GE/FR/EN)
