Head of Core

Get Ready To

• Support core teams in developing their vision and strategy to ensure it aligns with the vision of the business;
• Communicate and align core initiatives with the business and products;
• Communicate with products to understand what is needed, what can be reused, and help core teams with the following priorities;
• Help structure team processes and monitor the market for new potential tools needed to efficiently develop core products;
• Be prepared to monitor and identify human resources and act as Hiring Manager for core personnel (other than development);
• Be prepared to take ownership of key core initiatives/adhoc projects related to payments/integrations/microservices from concept to launch and ensure smooth delivery, integration and results;
• Be ready to ensure consistency/integrity across the various tools of Core & Products.

We Expect You To

• Have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in API management, distributed integration, and cloud-native application architectures;
• You are not afraid to take responsibility, make quick decisions and communicate your ideas with confidence; 
• You have proven experience with the agile software development lifecycle and know how to leverage a variety of techniques; 
• You are an expert at managing your team's expectations, having difficult conversations, and influencing others; 
• You are a problem solver at heart and bring a curious mindset to transform our products;
• You have demonstrated growth by overcoming a range of challenges related to developing, launching and maintaining digital products.

Location

Work from anywhere. We have offices in the major Lithuanian cities – Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda – but in case you can’t think of what pants to wear today, waiting for your cat’s food to be delivered, or casually chilling in Tenerife – gotcha. Meet you at the Zoom party.
