Job Description

Head of IT Department is responsible for developing network maintenance and growth plans, creating annual and project budgets, managing the IT staff of 10 members and keeping the executive team up to date on the latest networking technologies that could help the company to succeed. The main tasks are:

- Analyze business needs presented by users and recommend technical solutions with completion timeline
- Plan and execute IT related tasks/initiatives to support business performance efficiency
- Implement information technology policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating organizational requirements
- Organize new product introduction and support for end users
- Maintain organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting IT goals
- Produce detailed timelines and implement effective control for each project
- Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structures
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action
- Install hardware and peripheral components, load appropriate software packages such as operating systems, administer email and anti-virus systems
- Ensure the correct functioning and legal compliance of information systems and gaming devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical system failures and user issues in a timely manner
- Participate in all hardware and software evaluations and maintain vendor contracts
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Requirements

- 5+ years experience in IT leadership role
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems
- Hands-on experience with IT users support management including upgrades and maintenance of hardware and software
- Ability to focus on user journeys and then to compile it into functional requirements
- Capability to evaluate and acquire new technologies and technical resources to improve business capabilities
- Demonstrate leadership skills including project management, time management and innovations implementation are required
- Capability to manage a cross-functional project team
- Demonstrate strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience and summarizing complex concepts
- Great track record in IT vendors management
- Ability to operate in high pressure fast-paced environment
- Interact and communicate effectively with different grade personnel, including senior management.
