Job Description

Member of the IT Operations management team responsible for smooth and efficient Release Management process as per agreed service levels. Ensure proactive management of a unit on an operational level with employees located in different countries.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Establish, own, run and maintain efficient Release Management process that supports Business needs.
  • Ensure application deployment and changes in IT environments are carried out in an agile, controlled, tested, approved, accountable, and measurable manner.
  • Create and maintain release calendar and release and rollback plan, ensure proper notification, communication and involvement of appropriate stakeholders.
  • Engage with IT Development and drive the establishment and continuous improvement of efficient software build management and deployment pipeline.
  • Analyze and understand the change to ensure most efficient deployment strategy.
  • Ensure provisioning of IT environments on a daily basis and manage dependencies between software and infrastructure components.
  • Collect and analyze metrics to identify potential and future trends for continuous improvement of the process.
  • Analyze, advise and drive implementation of automation tools.
  • Implement processes in accordance with ITIL best practices and define domain standards and procedures.
  • Contribute to IT strategy creation and drive IT strategy implementation in a relevant domain.
  • Plan unit budget ensuring lowest costs and highest quality.
  • Create and implement operational plans and set targets for the team as well as for each employee.
  • Organize, engage and motivate employees within your area of responsibility through building the strong team, coaching and holding direct reports accountable and developing talent in the function/unit.
  • Contribute to team and company performance through effective networking, collaboration and leading through example.
  • Promote and support living the Luminor values and building the strong Luminor brand.

  • Fluency in English
  • Deep technical expertise and a good understanding of Release Management process in cross-country organization.
  • In depth knowledge of software development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing concept
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience with ITIL best practices and domain standards and procedures.
  • Proven record of working in multi-country and multi-vendor environment.
