Job Description
The Directorate of Human Resources is seeking legal expertise to support its Human Resources Regulation Office. The Directorate devises, develops, implements and supports policies and their resulting procedures to meet the Agency’s requirements in respect of human resources.
The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out, in coordination
with the EUROCONTROL Legal Service, the following principal tasks:
Advise the HR Directorate on all legal aspects of human resources matters
Establish, monitor and amend the Staff Regulations, General Conditions of Employment and all related implementation provisions
Prepare legal HR documents for presentation to different bodies, i.e the Provisional Council, Permanent Commission, General Meeting of Directors, etc.
Interpret all staff related regulations implementation provisions to ensure consistency and compliance throughout the Agency
Manage all legal security aspects of Eurocontrol staff
Requirements
Law degree. A specialisation in international administrative law would be an asset
Good knowledge of public service regulations and general HR matters
Working experience preferably in an international/intergovernmental organisation
Knowledge of security matters would constitute an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation and ability to work under time pressure
Excellent command (oral and written) of English and French
