My name is Mindaugas Raugalė and I am leading Infrastructure Tools and Apps Division in Telia Lietuva and I am looking for a IT system administrator to TV team in Vilnius. We are working with new technologies and our task is to ensure, that our customers are getting best TV service. It is fantastic opportunity to join us and to achieve goals together.
This position is in Telia Lietuva CPS division. Common Products and Services (CPS) is responsible for global products, networks, technologies, and IT enabling our business units across the Nordics and Baltics.
Your next challenge?
TV services is an exciting area. In this position you will be responsible to monitor and operate IT systems and infrastructure.
As an IT System administrator, you will be responsible for:
Performing various application support tasks - configuration, administration, deployment etc.
Analysis of systems/processes and initiation of necessary improvements and changes
Timely and effective resolution of failures
Collaboration with other supporting teams to resolve complex issues
Adjustment of monitoring processes considering changing needs
Meeting assigned project deadlines and work schedules
Automation of repetitive tasks
Who are you?
You are a quick learner, who wants to understand how TV services are working and eager to learn new things.
We expect that you have Bachelors degree in IT field and at least 2 year experience supporting and working with enterprise size Linux and/or Windows environments. Sufficient knowledge is required in:
Java application servers (tomcat, weblogic, etc.)
Web servers (nginx, apache)
Databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL etc.)
Scripting languages (Bash or other)
ITIL processes
Possession of any of the relevant certification would be an advantage.
Practice in virtualization technologies, micro services and containers (Docker etc.), High Availability solutions, IP network, Monitoring systems (Zabbix etc.), would be beneficial.

Working in this position you will receive a base salary from 1500 to 2800 Eur (gross). Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefits package which includes:
