I am Gediminas Mickevičius, Manager of Telia TV operations team, and I am looking for IS analyst / administrator to TV operations team in Vilnius. We are working with a new technologies and our task is to ensure, that our customers are getting best TV service. It is fantastic opportunity to join us and to achieve goals together.
This position is in TeliaCompany GSO division. Group Services and Operations (GSO) is responsible for global products, networks, technologies and IT enabling our business units across the Nordics and Baltics.
Your next challenge?
TV services is an exciting area. In this position you will be responsible for 2nd/3rd level application support, system configuration, administration and deployment, system stability and availability assurance.
As an IS analyst you will:
Perform application support tasks - configuration, administration, deployment, etc.
Analyze systems/processes and initiate necessary improvements and changes
Timely and effective solve incidents as part of on call duty team
Collaborate with other teams and solve complex issues
Digitalization. Additionally you will be able to focus into automation and reporting:
Repetitive tasks, monitoring – these are top candidates to be automated
We are operating with huge amounts of operational and performance data. You will be able to design, develop and implement reports and to make analysis

Your experience and skills:
Experience supporting and working with enterprise size Linux and/or Windows environments
Knowledge on SQL databases, building queries
Scripting languages
Strong analytical and result oriented personality and skills
Good knowledge of English language
Knowledge of High Availability solutions, IPTV systems, monitoring systems and/or connected with excellence in Linux would be beneficial.
