Job Description

Understand the IT capabilities; design, build and deploy IT solutions and services; provide maintenance and support.

Server facility maintenance:

• Execute the deployment and localization of the global IT solutions.
  
• Identify service and technology improvements.
  
• Provide maintenance and support for local and global IT solutions to ensure performance and reliability.
  
• Helpdesk and user support

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following profile:

• Degree in IT, scientific, engineering or mathematical subject.
  
• Experience of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including some exposure to Windows server operating systems.
  
• An interest in and up-to-date knowledge of software and hardware in Windows desktop and server sector.
  
• Strong technical background and problem solving skills.
  
• Any of the following will be pluses:
  

Experience maintaining Microsoft Server systems
Experience of Microsoft Hyper-V environments
Experience with firewall security and VPN
Experience of Microsoft Active Directory domains

• An understanding of high-availability, clustering and load-balancing technologies
  
• Experience in a technical or IT support role
