IT Administrator (0,25 et)

Arctic Adventures is looking for an IT Administrator. We are the largest adventure tour operator in Iceland, with main websites like adventures.is and adventures.com - check them out! 

Right now we are looking for an IT administrator to join the growing IT team in Lithuania, Vilnius. The successful candidate will serve two main functions within the company:  

• Coordinating between the company and external vendors/contractors about IT-related infrastructure and development. 

• Consulting other departments on any issues that might come up, working together to set potential fixes or efficiency controls. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands 
• Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction 
• Communicate with vendors and outsource contractors 

• Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means 
• Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use 
• Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes with regards to IT infrastructure

• Bachelor’s Degree in System Administration, Computer Science or related field 
• Industry certifications and memberships are a plus 
• Must be a great communicator, taking initiative and leadership where necessary 
• Comfortable with multitasking 
• Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity
