Job Description

  • Coordinate and collaborate with technical development, business application and database architecture functions to ensure availability of corporate network infrastructure
  • Collect and analyze network statistics, to ensure that the network and telecommunication systems are optimized
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses in order to recommend/implement scalable solutions
  • Implements processes and tools that support ongoing network service level measurement metrics and reporting
  • Analyze and troubleshoot network issues to resolve outages or interruptions in a timely manner and minimize impact to the company and its respective business units
  • Implements policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure network device integrity and security
  • Establish and maintain network monitoring systems and processes in order to alert on resource availability, network utilization, and threats to the global network infrastructure
  • Perform installations, upgrades or patching, and maintenance of the global LAN / WAN, NextGen Firewalls and Wireless infrastructure
  • Contributes to maintaining team process documentation and updates to network topology
  • Ensures that all network changes implementation is in full accordance with the change management and approved control procedures/standards
  • Participate in security incident response, security vulnerability identification and resolution, and IT compliance related issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT related field
  • 3 years of experience in a network administration or engineering field
  • IT Certification e.g. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Experience in the implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of routers and switches (preferably Cisco), Remote Access VPN etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot multiple issues at one time understanding of Network Infrastructure e.g. LAN, WAN
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation
  • Very good English language skills
