Darbo aprašymas

You are going to lead a technical team to consolidate our network and IT infrastructure and the main functions of your position would be:

- to form a best in class operations team and one operations structure end to end
- to manage the critical infrastructure, data center, IT and network operation on a 24 x 7 mode;
- to ensure availability, performance and scalability, in order to achieve maximum satisfaction and the best possible support for internal and external users
(providing first and second level support);
- to achieve a consistently high quality of all services according to SLAs, including provide and improve continuously quick and efficient service
management to deal with incident and problem management
- to lead and manage the IT & Network Operations team.

Key objectives for the first year is to ensure that the newly formed team increases current operations’ efficiency, meets all service SLA levels and
decreases current failure rates across systems and platforms

Reikalavimai

Requirements:

- At least 3 years at senior management level and significant relevant experience leading a successful, customer focused IT and/or network organization
with complex data center and/or NOC operational responsibility for business critical services.
- Must have advanced knowledge of managing primary infrastructure technologies (server, storage, network, cabling).
- Project management — Skilled project manager with ability to articulate business needs, develop detailed specifications and project plans in conjunction
with team,
- Technical expertise — Knowledge of IT systems: monitoring, deployment tools, backup and disaster recovery systems, cloud based service
management, network and security, hardware management and support, ticketing and tracking systems, data center management, software evaluations
and large scale enterprise roll-outs
- Experience with business continuity and disaster/recovery planning with respect to network and telephony systems
- Experience in a leadership role, reporting to senior management.
- Ability and ambition to potentially become CTO of the organization
- Must have the ability to facilitate and lead teams/groups in adaptation of new and improved engineering and IT practices.
- Must have excellent relationship building skills
- Good in English and Fluent in Lithuanian.
