Job Description

IT risk analyst will be responsible for managing risks within certain area of global engineering environment: ensuring risk prevention plan is executed in a timely fashion. Being point of contact for various business-risk related stakeholders (business continuity, compliance to different regulatory authorities); translating business risks to risk prevention projects for technical team(s).

Responsibilities:

• Transfer business risk requirements to technical teams (z/OS Mainframe team in Lithuania, in particular)
  
• Ensuring that activities carried out by the Business Area in respect of risk, audit & regulatory requirements (i.e. Sarbanes-Oxley) are in accordance with appropriate governance, compliance and operational principles, ensuring that team members understand and sign-up to their responsibilities
  
• Management and refresh of Risk Control Assessments in line with Barclays Group standard tools, methods and quality levels
  
• Acting as a reference point for any risk or compliance issues for the team, advising best practice where necessary
  
• Creating and promoting a risk aware culture where individuals are encouraged to identify and address potential risks to the supported infrastructure
  
• Tracking the progress of risks raised, ensuring target completion dates can be met and remedial actions are progressing as expected and reporting to key stakeholders
  
• Be liaison point for Security related projects and initiatives
  
• Management of Security compliance and dispensations for Business Area
  
• Coach and develop the skills of others to ensure the IT Risk Management function is effectively positioned to meet future demand

Requirements

• Good knowledge of IT - hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks etc.
  
• Knowledge of how IT is used to support a business environment
  
• Very good knowledge of English
  
• Organizational skills
  
• Experience with Risk, Security Management or Audit (min 2 years)
  
• Good understanding of IT Security Policies and Procedures
