Your next challenge?
You will have the opportunity to be part of our virtual global team implementing the new architecture for our future Online Charging Solutions (OCS). You will be an important corner stone in our transformation to cloud based technology supporting the future of new services for the next generation Telco (5G and IoT). You will work in the interface between the IT and the Telco domain within a distributed team setup with colleagues in several countries.
As an IT Solution Architect, your main activities are:
- Refining requirements in dialogue with the business and key stakeholders
- Analyzing and designing IT solutions with focus on Charging (online charging and offline charging)
- Designing and leading the architecture transformation from current to target IT landscape
- Guiding and supporting agile teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable and architecturally sound
- Developing domain roadmap and align with different stakeholders
- Driving consolidation in collaboration with other architects and aligning with target architecture.
Who are you?
You will be working closely with the business, IT architects, developers and partners in order to lead and coordinate the technical discussions to drive future architecture direction across the charging domain. Therefore, it is important to us that you have great communication skills and that you enjoy collaborating with other IT teams and business. You are a good team player with strong interpersonal skills to maintain a positive working atmosphere and establish collaborative relationships with colleagues. You show integrity and positiveness. You care about customers and colleagues but dare to challenge ways of working and you are ready to drive change.
Qualification and skills:
- Solid experience in Charging (online and offline) and Policy and Charging Control solutions
- Experience with infrastructure and configuration management tools
- Good understanding of cloud native application concepts
- Good understanding of software development and deployment concepts, such as CI, Test-driven development, CD and DevOps
- Experience on convergent charging solutions like Oracle BRM Suite (i.e. Elastic Charging Engine)
- Experience in IP Network design, analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience in using monitoring and dashboard visualization tools and solutions
- Good understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery principles, patterns and usage
- Experience with documenting and modelling IT solutions
- Experience with agile methods and frameworks.
Do you have experience with either of the following as well? Great!
- Design and deployment experience with the VMware vCloud NFV Suite
- Practical workflow development expertise or scripting experience.

We offer a monthly base salary from 3,034 Eur (gross) to 4,551 Eur (gross) depending on your experience. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefit package which includes:
