Job Description
- JSC "Bitė Lietuva" and its subsidiaries database and applications development, testing, administration and maintenance;
- Analysist, design, development, documentation, deployment, maintenance, administration and support of Billing System written in Java, Oracle PL/SQL;
- Collaboration in the solution estimation and timely delivery;
- Writing unit tests;
- Project and task reporting.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with development in Java 7/8;
- Experience with development in Oracle PL/SQL;
- Experience with test-driven development using Junit or Mockito;
- Familiarity with Git and Maven/Gradle;
- Practical usage knowledge of JPA 2.x, JAX-RS;
- Eagerness to learn and improve on daily basis and exchange knowledge with team members;
- Focus on efficient coding, awareness of patterns and anti-patterns;
- Good English skills.
We will appreciate but we don’t require:
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and/or Spark;
- Experience with NoSQL databases;
- Familiarity with SOA and Microservice architectures;
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Architect;
- Hands on experience with Apache Kafka, Gitlab CI/CD,Docker, Kubernetes;
- Experience with Agile software development and Scrum.
