Java Developer

Strategic Staffing Solutions client – CSC Baltic – is looking for:

JAVA Developer

The successful candidate will be part of a team that will work on various enterprise projects and support/maintenance tasks that requires a broad experience in Java and web development, tasks will vary from core java, java enterprise to frond end development.

About current project:
The project scope is to develop a completely new application to be used by Danish municipalities to support the processes to:

• Calculate property taxes
• Maintain other property related fees
• Creation of property tax invoice
• Functionality to support processes in municipalities to maintain property data in case of e.g. Sales, Complaints and changed calculation of Property Tax

The Project will develop much integration to other public systems in Denmark. The Project duration is approx. 1 year.

Responsibilities
• Java J2EE experience from design, analysis, implementation and testing.
• Fully able to analyze and assess the business requirements and turn them into development tasks.
• Hands on experience with back end and front end development.
• Team player, able to work individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.

Your professional competencies:
3+ years’ experience in J2EE applications. Spring IoC
Experience in more than one of the below technologies:
RDBMS, ORM, hibernate, JPA

• Application serves such as Tomcat, Jboss, WebSphere.
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Angular JS, Bootstrap.
• Jasper reports.
• Web services specifications: WSDL, REST, JSON.
• Apache service mix.
• RDMS (PostgreSQL, Mysql, Oracle, DB2)
• Elastic platform
• Apache Directory Server
• GoPro
• Apache Drools Engine
• Linux
Excellent English communication skills.
Java certifications is a plus

The job will include travel to Denmark for 4-5 days per month.
