JavaScript Developer with focus on event/monitoring at SEB Shared Service Center Vilnius

As a developer for monitoring tools you will primarily work with developing, maintaining and operating AIWA frontend. AIWA is internally developed IT operational tool that manages Knowledge Articles, Monitoring as services and Event Control as output from monitoring. It acts as a transparent “umbrella” for monitoring solutions, providing Self-Service and enabling automations.

The team you will work in is located in Stockholm and Vilnius, maintaining 10 different global systems for monitoring and event handling. It is a part of ITS Process & Technology department, which has responsibilities to own, define, maintain and continuously improve global common ITIL Processes & Tools. Also establish and communicate processes and supporting solutions, to provide guidance and support.

To succeed and thrive in this position you should have a deep knowledge in programming both front and backend. Primarily JavaScript (AngularJS, NodeJS), HTML/CSS and SQL. Java skills would be a plus. You should be used to new programming languages and frameworks, have knowledge in operations and maintenance of systems on Windows and Linux as well as experience of solutions that work cross several technique areas (i.e. Windows, Linux and Mainframe).

We would consider a great advantage if you had experience in monitoring tools such as IBM Tivoli, CA Spectrum or SCOM and of presentations, technical design and agile way of working. Another plus is familiarity with TDD or BDD.

As a person you should be engaged and responsible, self-driven, quick learner and open-minded team-player, which is willing to share knowledge, help others and accept help. You are eager to take on new challenges and explore new technologies.

Acting in the international environment will require you to possess good business and technical communication skills in English. Keep in mind that the job could imply a number of business trips outside of Lithuania.
