My name is Agnė Sokienė, and I am proudly heading Enterprise Enablement team within Telia IT. The Enterprise Enablement team is focusing on HR & Employee IT Services development and support across the countries. As we continue forward, we are now going to recruit a Atlassian JIRA & Confluence DevOps Engineer.
This position is in Telia Global Services Lithuania. Telia Global Services Lithuania is the competency hub for Telia Company, delivering products and services in IT, network, analytics, procurement, HR and finance operations.
Your next opportunity?
You will be part of the team responsible for Portfolio Demand& Delivery Management IT services for all Telia Company. Your key roles & responsibilities:
Serve as the JIRA / Confluence technical specialist (Subject Matter Expert) and support ongoing Jira consolidation activities.
Work directly with agile teams to understand needs and provide guidance.
Documentation, training, automation and support the processes/procedures regarding the use of JIRA in projects.
Provide day-to-day support. Troubleshoot issues for users, as needed.
Create JIRA projects, queries and reports as needed.
Administer JIRA and Confluence.
Design & manage JIRA/Confluence queries, dashboards for metrics reporting for various teams.
Develop solutions extending Atlassian REST services and JIRA plugins using the Atlassian SDK or plugins.
Address user questions and develop training as needed.
Identify opportunities to be creative and innovative.
Your experience:
For this position, we are looking for someone with Business and IT experience in the areas relevant for the position, with business acumen and good understanding of the strategic and tactical issues within the IT-services sector. You can manage complex environments and proactively respond to issues in an innovative yet structured approach and integrity. Furthermore, you need:
Minimum 3 years of deep hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence
Ability to create complex JIRA workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes
Experience using/extending REST services provided by Atlassian and REST in general
Knowledgeable of SQL, Python, Git, Shell scripting
Knowledge of other Atlassian products
Ability to work with cross functional teams
Excellent problem solving skills, process implementation skills
Creative problem-solving style and strong critical thinking skills
Solid understanding of Enterprise applications development
Excellent communication and partnering skills
Strong ability to prioritize across various tasks, manage changes in daily workload, and operate under several simultaneous deadlines
Comfortable in a dynamic and collaborative environment and able to work independently end-to-end
