Job Description

The SAP Test Management team ensures the quality and success of Festo’s regular SAP ERP releases. This includes integration and regression tests with several hundred testers on business side, as well as smaller project related tests. To reduce the efforts in Festo business and functional units, we focus on automation of critical tests, so that they can be executed as often as needed, without manual work of the testers.

The team in which you will be working is responsible for SAP Release, Test Management and IT Change Management in general. Together we ensure the successful implementation of changes in our IT systems and their stable operation. There is regular contact with Festo colleagues around the globe on IT and business side.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Implementation of automated test scripts with an AI-based test automation tool (Leapwork) according to documented business processes, test cases and test data
  • Operation of the automated tests infrastructure (DevOps approach)
  • Being a contact person for SAP Test Automation and providing consulting for other Festo colleagues
  • Support of regular SAP ERP releases and tests
  • Being regional responsible for SAP Quality initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience in Test Management, software development/ scripting
  • Degree in computer science or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Very good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work self-dependently in a global team
  • Fluent in English
  • Agile Mindset, ideally with practical experience in agile product development (e.g. Scrum)

 

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of SAP is preferable
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g. CBTA, Leapwork, Tricentis, Ranorex, …)
  • Experience as technical project team member in IT projects
