SAP BW Developer/Designer

Your next challenge?

I am looking for a person who has experience in Data engineering, architecture and is a quick learner with a very wide technical background in data platform, data acquisition, data management and analysis layers. You will work across businesses in a fast-paced, team environment developing data mesh and data engineering solutions to power the diagnostic and descriptive analytics needed to solve Telia’s most difficult problems. As well as work with Data Scientists to feed their machine learning models and unlock predictive and prescriptive analytics. You will play the role of trusted advisor, working to transform data into business insights, and describing complex ideas concisely and accurately.

Who you are?

You are a person who has a broad data warehousing experience. You are an innovative thinker and passionate in pursuit of world-class data technology, have a very wide technical understanding of data development process and solutions, strong business communication skills. Architect must also have expertise in SAP BW, HADOOP and other technical means.  I expect you adhere to the following requirements:

• Responsible for the design, build, and maintenance of data architectures for complex, highly visible data solutions that are both flexible and scalable.
• Prepares and presents recommendations for data warehouse/business intelligence solutions options that best achieve business needs; simplifies the data landscape, and increases the ability to discover, manage, and analyze data as a whole.
• Maintains a detailed knowledge base of the underlying data and data structures, and manages data content, current and potential future users, and the quality and integrity of data within the Enterprise Reporting function.
• Performs hands-on analysis, design, development and deployment of solutions.
• Designs and data conversion solutions.
• Establishes standards, develops data warehouse architecture, data modeling and guidelines for coding, performance optimization, documentation, quality assurance and production support.
• Develops Business reporting applications and dashboards.
• Establishes and maintains a modern, robust, flexible, secure, reliable, and efficient technology environment.
• Designs varying levels of complex frameworks to support system-wide technical and business architecture requirements.
• Guide/Mentor/Assist in development of the proposed architectural solution.
• Understanding or experience with delivering near real time application.
• Experience defining, owning and managing roadmap for delivering data enterprise solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile principles, with experience in scrums, building user stories, writing specifications.
• Experience in Machine Learning & Data Science.
• Considerable knowledge of information systems technology management, data warehousing, and analytics technologies; of large data repositories and/or relational databases; of business intelligence tools; of SAP BW, Linux, Hadoop and SQL Server environments; and of the analysis, design and development of data warehouses, working with large data repositories and/or relational databases.
• Deep Experience in couple of technologies would be beneficial, SAP BW, BODS, BO, SAS Viya, MSSQL, Hadoop, Data cataloging tools, Metadata tools, ETL tools, Cloud platforms and tooling and etc.

We offer a monthly base salary from 2000 Eur (gross) to 4000 Eur (gross) depending on your experience. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefit package which includes:
