Junior Client Application Specialist

The Client Application Specialist will be responsible for multiple 3rd party client applications in the international Festo IT environment.  Responsibilities range from communication with end-users, gathering of the requirements to the planning of release and deployment of scripts to automate the software installations. Other duties will include software compliance checks for application whitelisting and 2nd level troubleshooting when applications are not working as expected.

Your responsibilities:

• Communication with business colleagues to gather their requirements and use cases
• Participation in the license ordering processes
• Planning of Client Application releases
• Development of customized application software package installation scripts
• Testing of application compatibility in the secure Festo IT environment

Your qualification:

• Good communication skills
• Script writing skills. Preferably PowerShell, C# or Python knowledge
• Ability to develop and maintain IT documentation
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to learn, work independently and in the team
