Junior IT Administrator

The Junior IT Administrator support and ensures the quality and success of Festo’s regular SAP ERP releases. Our ERP system is used globally for many of the most critical business processes in Festo companies all over the world. We are responsible for the release process and the tools to deploy changes in SAP systems. Together with the SAP development teams, we coordinate the regular releases and support them in their work.Our international team is responsible for the SAP Release and Test Mgmt. and IT Change Mgmt. in general. Together we ensure the successful implementation of changes in our IT systems and their stable operation. In all these areas, there is regular contact to Festo colleagues around the globe, on IT and business side.Your responsibilities:

• Work with the team to ensure the regular and successful deployment of our ERP releases
• Enhance our current release process and tools to be ready for agile development in SAP
• Modernize the SAP development culture, methods and practices together with the SAP Developer Community at Festo
• Evaluation of DevOps tools and methods around Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD, abapGit, gCTS for S/4 systems, Jenkins, SAP "Project Piper", …)
• Contact for other IT products and developers for topics of Release Management, DevOps and SAP Development

• Good knowledge and experience in modern Software development
• Strong customer orientation, ability to work independently and acting as a team member
• Creativity and courage to bring in and develop your own ideas
• Very good written and spoken knowledge of English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in SAP ABAP development
• Knowledge in SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM
• Knowledge in SAP CRM development
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery (SAP or other technology stacks)
• Studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable qualification
