Job Description

As a Junior Java Developer you will ensure development and maintenance of software/applications in high quality. Your responsibilities will range from defining and creating new features, to implementing core application logic, designing of systems and building highly reliable and stable applications. You will work closely with other engineers, business specialists and different groups across Swedbank.

Requirements

You should have the following professional competences:

To succeed in the role as Junior Java Developer you need an Academic education (or studying) and Java knowledge. You have good communication and cooperation skills. You are good at spoken and written English.

It’s an advantage if you have experience in one or many of the following areas:

have experience of Java/Web development;
knowledge of these technologies: Hibernate, JDBC, Spring, Spring MVC, JQuery is considered as an advantage
tools: IntelliJ, svn, Hudson;
generic knowledge of databases and particularly Oracle database.

This position is based in Vilnius, but travelling may occur.
