Job Description

He/she is responsible for:

• developing of key documents ( ie Key One Line Diagrams, One Line diagrams, cable list, Block Diagrams,etc.).
  
• preparing project specification(s), problem definition development of solutions.
  
• gathering information from Client and Vendors.
  
• specifying electrical equipment ( HV & LV Switchgear, Transformers, VSD’s HV & LV motors, UPS systems, etc).
  
• verifying capacity of existing electrical equipment.
  
• performing calculations.
  
• preparing of Basis for Design documents, reporting findings, recommendations and solutions.
  
• attending meetings with client and vendors, attending inter-disciplinair meetings.
  
• evaluating Bid offers, inter-disciplinair Squad Checks.
  
• manpower planning.

Requirements

• HTS electrical; with good command of the English language both spoken and in writing.
  
• Preferably 8 years experience in an engineering environment.
  
• More technical specialist than a generalist.
  
• Familiar with relevant engineering software programmes.
  
• Preferably familiar with classification society rules and design codes.
  
• Communicative skills and commercial attitude.
  
• Team leader.
