Job Purpose

The HR Business Partner will work with a global, high energy client group which will require strong stakeholder management at senior levels. The role requires proven ability to influence, coach and constructively challenge the clients. The likely HR agenda will be:

Main Accountabilities:
Strategic Partnership

• Agree with business leadership/manage overall company’s resource profile, recruiting and developing technology/operations talent, ensure company is regarded as employer of choice and has access to the talent pool for required growth.
• Apply HR expertise and commercial understanding to partner the business leadership. Interpret the company ‘s areas’ plans, diagnose the people implications and translate that into a clear people plan
• Provide trusted and expert advice and support on a range of HR issues such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, culture, organisation design, leadership and learning and development
• Coach and support business leaders on employee engagement and motivation
• Drive the talent plan for the business to build sustainable people capability
• Support the business leadership to build a performance culture, aligned to the Group Behaviours and Values
• Partner with HR operational and specialist colleagues to deliver a seamless HR service to the business
• Provide advice and guidance to leaders on the effective management of change and lead the associated HR actions and plans
• Provide leadership on internal and external resourcing to attract and retain talent in the right place with the right skills, including direct involvement in senior and critical hires as required

Operational Agenda
• Ensure that the HR operational service is delivered successfully to the business. In particular:
o core HR processes delivered by the HR shared service organisation
o the bi-annual performance review processes
o the annual compensation process

Team Leadership
• Lead and support matrix team, managing and developing them to their full potential.
• Act as a role model for the broader HR Team

Governance and Risk Management
• Ensure all people processes meet risk and governance requirements and align fully with Group Values and Behaviours
• Ensure that business leaders advocate and lead by the Company Values
• Ensured adherence to the local legislations

• Good understanding of all aspects of HR from an operational and transformational perspective
• Commercially astute and high level of business acumen
• Strong analytical ability, numerate
• Effective relationship builder with good influencing skills, across a range of diverse stakeholders
• Self-confident, with high integrity, willing to challenge appropriately
• Resilient, able to deal with organisational complexity and operate at pace
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written
