Job Description

Chosen candidate will be leading a team of 3-4 people, who will be hiring for a variety of vacancies and coaching line managers to deliver best practice
recruitment and ensuring understanding of and compliance to HR governance and recruitment policy. The Lead Resourcing Partner also will be
responsible for developing relationships with business areas and associated HR, Leadership and Reward teams.

Responsibilities and approximate time split

60% - Recruitment Activity

  • Leadership within a local Resourcing function to provide strategic planning, in line with global initiatives, direction and development of Resourcing
colleagues, management of workload against plan and the reporting of activity through to HR colleagues, stakeholders and global Resourcing teams.
  • To be part of the global Resourcing leadership team and to collaborate with colleagues from other regions
  • Support global Resourcing initiatives and be a focal point for global teams to engage with and interact with to ensure alignment across multiple
Resourcing teams.
  • Owning specific recruitment activity to include; cost management, candidate attraction methodology, the facilitation of vendor selection, engagement
and management, assessment tools through to negotiation of hire.
  • Create clear and effective communication channels with Business Leaders, HR, Reward and Talent teams.
  • Ensure fit for purpose recruitment processes, getting the basics right to facilitate Line Manager accountability of BAU recruitment activity.
  • Provide coaching where required supporting the Resourcing process and Talent agenda.
  • Monitor Recruitment tools (from generic attraction material through to assessment design) available to Line Managers, evaluate effectiveness and
ensure fit for purpose. Where appropriate, design and implement new materials/tools.
  • Create targeted attraction strategies for defined populations based on research, analysis and M.I.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline that is in line with business requirements and the talent/people agenda.
  • Lead the University cooperation projects and programs (e.g Graduates, Internships and other)

20% - Research
  • Work with the business and HRBPs to define Talent and overlay the competencies and behaviors on to current and forthcoming roles.
  • Know the candidate market and research into ways of attracting and retaining candidates that could feed into talent pipeline.
  • Understand and contribute to recruitment demand plans. Use data to recruit ahead of the curve and design targeted attraction methods.
  • Keep abreast of developments in employment legislation to ensure best Resourcing practice.

10% - Customer care and relationship management
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and systems for successful ‘on-boarding’.
  • During the offer-process act as knowledge point for HR colleagues and Businesses Management seeking help and guidance around hiring and
tracking processes.
  • Utilize feedback to influence HR product and service deliverers e.g. company car scheme, to ensure high level of customer care delivered to all new
  • To be the point of contact for any issues or escalations

10% - Teamwork

  • Excellent level of literacy and accuracy + attention to detail is expected
  • Logical decision making, effective listening and utmost professionalism
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • English

  • Prior on-boarding or HR experience with evidence of strong/high performance
  • Experience as an Operational/Team Leader in a busy environment.
