Hi there! My name is Giedrė and I head up the Telia Lietuva legal division. We are a great bunch of people, and I am super proud of every member of my team: they work hard, play hard and are the best bunch of lawyers this side of the Atlantic!

Your next challenge?
One member of our team has been training in the Telia IT Academy and has now decided to leave law and become a programmer. So… we need you! Your next challenge – should you accept it – is to become the HR Legal Partner for Telia Lietuva.
As the HR Legal Partner, you will support not only our Human Resources division, but also the Global Services & Operations unit in all legal questions and decisions making. You will be entrusted to consult company executives and employees on labor law, commercial law and various other legal issues. Legal protection of personal data requirements (when processing personal data of employees and candidates) will also be one of your responsibilities.

What else?
• Preparation, review and legal evaluation of contracts, company internal procedures and other legal documents
• Monitoring and ensuring the company's compliance with national and EU law requirements
• Representation of company interests in collective negotiations
• Identifying and managing the legal risks of transactions
• Preparation of court and legal documents and representation of the company's interests in the courts of all instances and in various state institutions

Who are you?
You are an inhouse lawyer who is willing to participate in different projects and work groups locally and globally, which means you are also fluent in English (both written and spoken). Flexible, proactive and diligent team player with excellent communication skills. Someone who is prepared to start in employment law, but move on to other responsibilities within the legal team (becoming, for example, a finance or technology legal partner) within a couple of years. We are big on rotating our staff in order to keep their skill-set as broad as possible and in order to deepen their understanding of the Telia organization.
