Job Description
Lano Solutions is a growing law firm dealing with corporate and business issues of our international clients. We assist SME in business set-up and full legal and accounting support in Lithuania. We have a big and famous clients. Our competencies include different corporate and fintech matters, contract law, labour law, tax law, migration law, licensing (crypto-currency exchange, EMI, etc), Anti-Money Laundering issues and general legal support for business. Our working languages are Lithuanian, Russian, and English.
We are looking for an ambitious Legal Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- assist lawyers in drafting and amending different business contracts (in LT, ENG, RU);
- support with AML and KYC procedures;
- assist with client projects and business development of the practice on different matters of corporate, fintech (cryptocurrency), tax, migration, labour law, compliance, and data protection, etc.;
- support lawyers with the drafting of various legal documents and analytical materials;
- preparing marketing materials;
- analysing of legislation and judicial practice;
- conduct legal research on different corporate, fintech, tax, and business matters;
- prepare summaries and presentations;
- translate various documents from Lithuanian into Russian/English and vice versa.
Requirements
- 3-5 year student in Lithuanian law;
- fintech (cryptocurrency) / AML / business law’s knowledge will be an advantage;
- good knowledge of Lithuanian, Russian, and English (both speaking and writing);
- computer literacy with practical experience in Microsoft Office;
- good research skills;
- good interpersonal skills;
- attentiveness to details, diligent and proactive attitude to work;
- desire to learn;
- good attitude towards Ukrainians.
