Legal Services Coordinator, EMEA North
In coordination with the Senior Director and Regional Senior Corporate Counsel EMEA North Region and Director, Legal Operations provide support to LSG Legal and the EMEA North Legal team for the benefit of Thermo Fisher’s business and sites in the Nordics, Lithuania, Russia & CIS countries. Essential tasks and responsibilities:Managing and maintaining contract automation systems and other self-service tools that have been implemented by or for which responsibility lies with EMEA Legal North or LSG Legal (Vilnius team);
In coordination with the Corporate Counsel in Russia, assist the business to comply with the global third party intermediary screening process by setting up account, performing the initial review and escalate to EMEA Legal North as appropriate.
Generally assist the EMEA North Legal team and LSG Legal (Vilnius team); with coordinating, improving presentation slide-decks and otherwise contribute to improving the Legal team’s legal training efforts in the region.
Know and deploy the Company’s templates and standard procedures, promote their use in the business and explain them to the business.
Manage the Vilnius’ site contract review processes in support of creating a more efficient legal function including performing the first review and verify whether escalation to attorney is required.
Managing, coordinating and maintaining Vilnius’ process for legal requirement review and change monitoring including managing and updating the database, arranging the Coordinator meetings quarterly and follow-up on deadlines.
Graduated from University.
Relevant work life experience.
Experience from and interests in technical systems and project coordination and/or management.
Perform duties proactively and independently with minimal instruction given on new projects or assignments.
Excellent communication (spoken and written) language skills in English and Lithuanian.
Moderate communication (spoken and written) language skills in Russian – advantage.
PC literacy including MS Office, Excel and Outlook and a genuine interest for technology and IT systems and tools.
