The Team
We are young team in charge of Danske Bank Linux and UNIX infrastructure. Using our coding skills and development methods we are making Linux/UNIX servers to process transaction, send messages, make sense of big data, run containers and do lots of wonderful things for our customers.
Linux infrastructure is growing fast and we never run out of puzzles to solve, new things to test, people to meet and ideas to share.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure stability and availability of Linux/UNIX infrastructure
- Develop new and continuously improve existing solutions
- Continuously improve quality and customer experience for all Linux/UNIX deliveries by applying best development practices
- Provide Linux/UNIX expertise for customers and colleagues
- Ensure best security practices are implemented on all levels
- Help solving difficult issues and provide permanent solutions for problems
- Contribute in cloud development and integration
- Create and improve existing processes, procedures and documentation
- Promote Linux and Linux based solutions
Requirements
- Working experience with Linux/UNIX servers at least 2-3 years
- Would be nice to have experience with Red Hat, AIX or Solaris systems
- Working experience with automation and configuration management systems (preferable)
- Strong programming skills and knowledge of development methods
- Understanding of security challenges and solutions
- Knowledge of middleware solutions (messaging, application servers) (preferable)
- Bachelor's degree
- Perfect English skills
