LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Metso Outotec is looking for Logistics Coordinators to join our regional logistics team.

As a Logistics Coordinator your main responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring inbound and outbound shipments and serving our internal customers in a way that guarantees end customer satisfaction with Metso Outotec services. Work may include also managing freight claims and invoices. A very important part of the work is identification of opportunities for improvement related with tools, triggers/inputs to the process and internal processes. You will be working closely with our internal customers, suppliers and logistics service providers.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred, or a combination of education. More than three years’ experience in logistics, experienced different functional area in logistics such as forwarding, warehouse management, transportation management, import & export, and supply chain management, etc
• Language: Strong English skills in reading and Writing. Smooth oral English
• Computer: Have a good command of MS Office, be familiar with SAP/ERP & TMS & Oracle system is a plus
• Excel Analysis ability is a plus
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgement, poise and diplomacy.
• Ability to use judgement and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.
• Articulate, engage and analyse situations, seeking practical solutions to drive positive outcomes.
• Drive and ability to respond effectively and efficiently to customer challenges using independent judgment to make freight planning decisions in the customer’s and the company's best interest
• Work autonomously and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work on various shifts to support multiple time zones within the region.
