Job Description
The position will be responsible for cost accounting, financial closing and reporting, annual operating plan, product cost development, variance analysis, inventory reporting and other ad-hoc analysis. You will be acting as a business partner and provide financial support to the plant leadership team.
What will your responsibilities be like?
- Preparation and development of a monthly financial and management reporting including variance/expense analysis as well as annual operating plan and midyear review forecasts.
- Monitoring, reporting and assessment of the plant’s productivity and financial performance.
- Supporting the Cost Improvement Program by advising project leaders as to the financial impact of cost improvement projects.
- Establishment, maintenance and insurance of accuracy of plant standard costs data in SAP system.
- Support of the development of the financial and operational justifications for capital investments (AFE process), control spending in line with approval limits and assessment for impairments
- Providing inventory reporting and ensuring inventories are recorded accurately, monitoring and maintenance of adequate obsolescence reserves and minimization of inventory exposure risks.
- Conduction of a financial analysis, interpretation of data and providing guidance that assists management in meeting financial targets.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of similar working experience in an international manufacturing company in finance analysis area.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience working with SAP system would be considered as a huge plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple demands.
