Media Planner

The team of Arena Media consists of 12 members: 4 your fellow media planners, 1 strategic planning officer, 1 media strategist, 1 research manager, 4 project managers and the CEO. You will be a very welcome 13th member of the team!

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of media plans and implementation: planning and control of customer advertising campaigns in the press, radio and outdoor advertising channels
• Interacting with media suppliers to work on upcoming opportunities
• Manage and execute all media plan adjustments including changes in budgets, scheduling, communication goals, creative units/length, media mix
• Assisting project managers in analyzing customer needs and planning advertising campaigns
• Keep project managers up to date on media plan changes, budgets and other media related projects
• Analysis and reporting of completed campaigns
• Exploring and evaluating new media opportunities and determine how they fit within client business objects and budgets

• Previous experience as a media planner or related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and financial acumen
• Knowledge of media math and terminology
• Ability to develop and foster relationships with media partners.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the media marketplace
• Show a passion for what you do and have fun while doing it
• Appreciate giving and receiving feedback as part of a company culture
• Proficient with media research tools
