Media Strategist

The team:

You will work in a team of more than 11 membersin Arena Media. As the 12th team member, you will work with Project Managers, Media Research specialists and Media planners. We are looking for a Media Strategist, who will demonstrate a mastery of Media Channels, uncovering new media placement opportunities that relate to each client’s business.

What you’ll be responsible of:

• Being the main thought leader and expert on new media strategies and upping the ante for existing client campaigns. Providing strategic guidance and insight across the entire media spectrum.
• Finding the best media solutions, generating effective media strategies, and presenting them to our clients.
• Leading a team of media planners and managing the work flow of the department.
• Staying current with best practices, strategies, trends and industry standards related to media planning and buying.

• A senior media planner or a sr. media account manager who’s outgrown their shoes and is ready to make a career leap.
• 5+ years of successful hands-on experience in media planning and buying. Agency experience is preferred.
• Experienced at creating unique and cutting-edge media strategies to help clients meet greater business goals.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate internal and external needs.
• Self-starter and a team player. Ability to manage the workflow of the team, lead and mentor others.
• Ability to communicate your ideas clearly, concisely and with confidence.
• Results-oriented, with ability to accomplish project and agency goals.
• Digital savvy, curious professional with strong appetite for innovation.
• A passion for the media and willingness to grow further as a media professional.
