Member of the Management Board and Accounting Officer

UAB SECUREWALLET is seeking to recruit a full-time Officer will be acting as Member of the Company's Management Board and Accounting Officer.

Minimun qualifications are:

• University Degree in Management and/or Finance or any related field;
• At least 2 years' experience in Management, Accounting or other related areas in the payments/financial sector;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian and English.

Duties and responsibilities of the Member of the Management Board:

• Familiarizing with the Law on Electronic Money and Electronic Money Institutions of the Republic of Lithuania, Directive(EU) 2015/2366 of the European Parliament and of the Council (Payment Services Directive-'PSD2'), and the EMI licensing requirementsof the Bank of Lithuania(BoL);
• Ensuring that the operations of the Company are in compliance with the above legislation;
• Analysing and assessing the draft Annual Financial Statements and fraft profit(loss) distribution of the Company and submitting them together with the Annual Report of the Company to the General Meeting for approval;
• Reviewing and approving the Annual Report of the Company;
• Adopting desicions at board level.

Duties and responsibilities of th Accounting Officer:

• Maintenance of the General Ledger;
• Maintenance of proper books of accounts in accordance with the Lithuanian legislation;
• Maintenance of separate records in the accounting system for each client, own funds/assets and funds/assets kept on behalf of clients;
• Keeping of separate bank account(s), in the Company's name on one hand and in the Company's clientele name(client account(s)), on the other hand;
• Reconciliations between the Company's internal accounts and records and those of any third parties by whom funds are held;
• Preparation of periodic management accounts and reports in accordance eith Management Board's instructions.
