Mid. Level Accountant

The Mid. Level Accountant will perform accounting duties in Kaunas, Lithuania. It includes, but is not limited to the management of Systems division daily/weekly/monthly accounting tasks, documentation of processes and feedback related to quality, productivity, and compliance. Furthermore, this role will be the primary contact for our clients in USA and Corporate accounting team. The position will report to the Director of Business Services.

• Daily accounting duties:
o Updating General Ledger entries
o Correcting and updating bank entries
o Depositing checks and payments
o Other tasks assigned by controller
• Monthly closing duties:
o Bank reconciliations
o Fixed assets reconciliation
o Sales commission analysis/calculations
o Billing responsibilities such as invoicing, revenue by customer reports
o Budgets vs Actuals analysis
o Meeting monthly close deadlines
• A/R Aging duties:
o Follow up client account via phone/email and other communication channels
o Clarifying client status
o Collections via phone or other communication channels
• Other responsibilities:
o Complete Financial/Journal entries account reconciliation
o Build, maintain, spreadsheets, process documentation
o Assist with the development and maintenance of training materials
o Assist with the creation of financial statements that meet GAAP
o Recognize trends, analyze root causes and propose solutions to resolve any concerns
o Lead training of new and existing staff
• Ensure compliance with all company confidentiality policies including patient information, client information and team member information encountered while performing job duties.

Working hours: 10:00 – 19:00

• Bachelors’ degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Work experience in finance or accounting
• Bilingual Lithuanian and English.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks
• Flexible to handle unexpected daily challenges
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong computer operating skills
• Revenue cycle management experience preferred, but not required
• Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required
• Experience in working with NetSuite would be an advantage
