Duties

The incumbent drives both unarmored and armored vehicles for Marines in the Marine Security Guard (MSG) Detachment. The Chauffeur is responsible for the safe transportation of Marine Security Guard Detachment and ensures that the vehicles assigned to the detachment are in serviceable condition.

Reports directly to Motor Pool Supervisor. Receives instructions from the MSG Detachment Commander, General Services Officer or RSO.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a:

  • security certificate.

All selected candidates will be subject to a background investigation and may be subject to a pre-employment medical exam.Selected candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Completion of primary education is required.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • At least two years of professional driving experience is required.

  • Good working knowledge of Lithuanian (Writing/Speaking/Reading) is required.
