.NET Direction Lead

Job Description

The team: your team will consist of 25 members: jr./ mid./ sr.  level developers and .NET tech leads. There are also PHP, JAVA, UI/UX, QA, DevOps and IT (infrastructure) Direction Leads with whom you will develop projects together. Your direct manager will be the COO.

What you will do:

  • Be responsible for envisioning and setting goals in the .NET team
  • Organize and monitor the activities of the teams in order to increase the efficiency of teams’ members and meet the requirements of schedule and budget
  • Maintain teams by recruiting, selecting, orienting, onboarding and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities
  • Be coaching and mentoring team members of the best practices and setting standards providing a culture of collaboration, communication, and creativity
  • Manage resources by coordinating timetables of the projects
  • Implement of motivational systems in your team. Of course, the internal HR team will help you with this
  • Improve programming processes, implement new methodologies in your .NET direction

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience in roles related to IT projects and products
  • Proven experience in employee coaching, development, conflict management, and decision making
  • Strong planning and organizational skills for getting materials within budget and at the right time
  • Practical and recent experience working with .NET
  • Fluent English and Lithuanian language skills

  • Want to constantly add new project management tools and principles to your team's stack and are not afraid of cutting edge technologies
  • Feel responsible for your own and your team’s success
  • Can advise and explain why one solution or another is better for the whole team

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of TDD, SOLID, KISS, DRY principles and Agile methodology
  • Be familiar with TOGAF
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker/DevOps
