• Provide telephone and remote technical support, diagnose customer network faults to ensure
  

restoration of customer network services within the defined SLA

• Analyse & troubleshoot logged faults in order to provide working solutions & accurately
  

isolate
the root cause

• Support, Implementation and Integration of new equipment and services
  
• Taking part in project implementations

Requirements

• Degree in IT
  
• Good LAN/WAN knowledge
  
• At least 2 years networking experience
  
• Strong analytical skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  
• Good team working, good communications skills
  
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly, effectively & with minimum supervision
  
• Identify the root causes of multiple alarm and fault indications
  

• Experience with TCP/IP networking protocols
  
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS; hands on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco
  

routers and L2/L3 switches, PIX firewall

• Good understanding of firewalls and VPN would be beneficial
  
• An understanding of VLAN’s, AD, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, IAS, RAS, NAT, RADIUS, Windows
  

2000/2003 servers, web filters

• Familiar with remote management applications, traffic monitoring tools
  
• Familiar with ticketing systems SD or SC (DW)

• CCNA and other relevant qualifications
